Casablanca 1 day tour itinerary

Our full-day Casablanca tour usually begins at 8 am and ends at 6 pm. Sometimes, we might start at 7 am because Casablanca is a large and busy city. We want to avoid delays in crowded places.

Just let us know where you’re staying, and our tour guide will pick you up from there to start your tour. Bring your camera with extra battery because we’ll spend the whole day exploring and taking a pictures.

First destination is Mohammed V Square

The first stop on this tour is Mohammed V Square. We’ll visit this amazing place that looks different from typical Moroccan buildings because it was constructed during the French protectorate. so defently you will have a nice experiance here. Our guide will explain to you everything about this place.

The square is filled with pigeons, people, and kids playing. Near Mohammed V Square, there’s a new theater under construction that you’ll get to see too.

Second destination is Sacre Coueur Church

After exploring Mohammed V Square, our tour guide will take you to Sacre Coueur Church. It’s one of the most beautiful places to visit in Casablanca. Built by a French architect in 1930, it served religious functions for 16 years but after it opend for tourists in 1956.

This church has an amazing park with lots of trees and palm trees. So this will add an amazing touch to the church.

After exploring these two places, you might feel hungry. Our tour guide will take you to the best nearby restaurant for lunch and a break.

 

The third destination is Hassan II Mosque.

After a good meal and a break, our next stop is Hassan II Mosque, the top destination here in Casablanca.

After reaching the mosque, the tour guide will first lead you to where you can buy entry tickets. You’ll only need to pay 130 dh moroccan dirham (£10.50GBP, $12.50USD). Keep this ticket safe because you’ll need to show it in the mosque.

Once we have a tickets, we’ll go inside to see the biggest mosque in africa ans 14th in the world. It’s a mix of traditional Moroccan style and modern design, pretty amazing, right? and also it got the world’s tallest minaret, reaching 689 feet (210 meters), and it can hold over 20.00 people inside while the outside 80.00 people.

Notice: To enter the mosque, You should wear clothes that cover your shoulders and knees(for both women and men). Also, you can’t wear shoes inside because there are carpets everywhere. So you need to take off your shoes. If you don’t want to walk barefoot, bring socks and wear them.

After that, your tour guide will show you around inside the mosque to see stunning designs, beautiful tiles, fancy ceilings, and incredible chandeliers.

After you expolre the mosque we have to go the last distinatino which is Casablanca Medina (old medina)

 

Fourth destination is Casablanca Medina

In the old medina, you’ll find a lively market called a ‘souk.’ People sell and buy fruits, vegetables, clothes, fish, dishes, and more. The views here are amazing, making it a great spot for pictures as well.
